The Masters of the Universe are invading the Injustice Universe in this epic crossover. In the first two issues we have established that Superman has taken control of Earth and is controlling its heroes and villains. The remaining resistance head to Eternia to recruit its most powerful superhero, He-Man in combating the dark Kryptonian’s rule. The build up has been established and the major battle is about to take place. This was written by Tim Seeley and drawn by Freddie E. Williams II. Check out my thoughts on this epic first issue in the attached video!

It’s Jitsu! I mean, Chopper. He’s from the Masters of the Universe Classics Super7 Filmation series. He only made one appearance in the original 1980s cartoon, but it was memorable. Thank you Michael for getting me this figure at Power Con 2018. I hope to get more of the Filmation series figures at some point down the line.

I never knew I wanted to see Bane ATTEMPT to punch He-Man before until I read this issue. He-Man has been recruited by the remaining heroes of Earth to take down the tyrannical rule of Superman/Wonder Woman/Batman and their Brainiac mind controlled Suicide Squad. Can He-Man take on the Kryptonian? The fight is being built up to be epic! Check out my thoughts on this second issue to this 6-Issue mini series written by Tim Seeley and drawn by Freddie E Williams II.

One of my favorite DC Comic book gay superheroes is back with a second prequel season on the CW Seed website. Raymond Terrell is a metahuman with light based powers bestowed on him. He battles not on his own Earth but on another Earth where Nazis have taken over and a small group of Freedom Fighters, both human and superhuman, attempt to over through this evil regime. Check out my thoughts on this second season, but lots of spoilers are a part of this!

The Masters of the Universe are invading the Injustice Universe in this epic crossover. The tyrannical Superman has taken control of Earth and the heroes head to Eternia to recruit its most powerful superhero in combating the dark Kryptonian’s rule. However, there are a few other players in this story, including a couple villains that are going to cause so much trouble in the future. This was written by Tim Seeley and drawn by Freddie E. Williams II. Check out my thoughts on this epic first issue in the attached video!

It is the third issue of the 1980’s He-Man and the Masters of the Universe magazine. This issue has their own unique version of the origin of the Horde plus two cool posters and lots of nostalgia promos as well. Check out my thoughts on this edition in the attached video.

It’s the fourth issue of the BriGAYDE from Class Comics. Devilhound is causing a rift within the team with is secret affair with the villain Jon Dazy. The devil, Bob aka Beelzebub, himself is part of the conspiracy with the big bad Abner Filigree. This story is getting so incredibly interesting! Lots of gay sex take place in this book as well. Just thought I should say that.

Oh yes, there was a Masters of the Universe magazine that came out in the 1980s. This is the second issue that came out. I previously did a video on the first issue, you can check that out if you’re so inclined (Click Here). Meanwhile, this second issue includes lots of 80s nostalgia and a couple mini stories involving our favorite leather harnessed muscle superhero, He-Man!

It’s fan favorite Crita, from the New Adventures of He-Man series. She was part of the “Space Mutants’ as categorized from the Masters of the Universe Classics series. Major shout out to my buddy Long Haired Creepy Guy for getting this figure for me! Check out my thoughts on this figure in the attached YouTube video.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe are going to be fighting up against or teaming up in some instances, with the the DC Injustice Universe. I do not know if this is a good or bad thing, but I will take anything with He-Man at this point. The Masters of the Universe…Universe…has been in limbo for a bit and should have an ongoing comic book series. For reasons, they just have been shelved.

Tim Seeley will be the writer for this series. He will be teaming up with artist Freddie E. Williams II, who I am a huge fan of myself. He drew my boy Tim Drake in his Robin series for a bit and did a fantastic job. He also was the artist for the He-Man/Thundercats crossover mini series.

The synopsis for the 6 issue mini series reads: Believing He-Man and the Masters of the Universe defeated, a robotic impostor (FAKER?!) has seized control of Eternia—but not for long! After freeing his kingdom from this strongman’s rule, He-Man learns not everyone is pleased to see the pretender deposed—but Adam knows the value of freedom. When heroes from another dimension ask his aid in deposing a superhero turned dictator, he agrees. Teaming up with Batman against the Superman of the Injustice Universe, He-Man and his new allies face dangerous and familiar enemies in a battle where no world is safe!

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe has had several comic book series. They even had a comic book series with DC Comics existing in their universe had a crossover taking place on Earth. This series had a great ending, but left readers wanting more. Particularly from He-Man’s twin sister, She-Ra. There have been reports of a new movie to be made, which this itself has been in limbo for over 30 years. There was a great crossover with Thundercats, that made 80’s kids rejoice. The toyline Super7 has kept the figures going, but not a lot more for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe has never been revealed. With Injustice, which is a much darker DC universe, we may see some very twisted and re-imagining of characters that most Masters of the Universe fans are not used to seeing.
