I absolutely adore Jeremy Jordan aka Winn Schott from Supergirl. I ship him with just about all of the male characters on the show. I think the writers and the actor knows that he may have a small gay following and play into it. His hero crush on Superman is the best. It may just be me, but I am so hoping that he’ll be bisexual. Him and Jimmy can have a thing. Or hell, they made it clear that Mon El as a Daxamite does not even think of sexualities. It could happen.

I loved the season finale of Supergirl. It had it’s ups and downs. I won’t spoil the ending in case anyone has not seen it yet. But if you did happen to watch the show and watch the commercials, there was a great promo for Wonder Woman. It even features Linda Carter and it just totally made me smile! The clip is below.

Fuck yeah! I love Supergirl and I love the actress playing her, Melissa Benoist even more now. Melissa pictured above is exercising her freedom to protest at the Women’s March on Washington against the new Führer Trump regime and she nailed it. I’ll leave it at that.

I was really hoping that Supergirl character – Mon-El played by Chris Wood was going to be a Captain Jack Harkness type of character that is pansexual. Unfortunately that does not look to be the case. It appears that the show is going to force a predictable relationship between him and Supergirl because…whatever reason.

When we see Mon-El’s flashback as a personal guard of the “Prince of Daxam,” it almost feels as though he is much more to him. This gave me a glimmer of hope that maybe Mon likes both genders. By the way, I am totally thinking that Mon-El is the actual Prince and that he lied to cover his heritage. It would not be the first time in this show to do that.

Later when Mon-El is with Winn, they appear to be bonding on a much more bromantic level. No romantic feel, but still a cutesy way to show the two dudes as being more than just acquaintances. This gave me even more hope that something will happen and that the show will destroy the stereotype that the new male superhero that is not going to just be a background character with barely any screen time, will be a character who’s sexuality is fluid.

Unfortunately, CW made it clear on 11/28/2016’s episode of Supergirl titled Medusa, that he has a thing for the Girl of Steel. Did not see that coming. No not at all. It was a complete surprise. No one expected that the lead character would have a thing for the new hot alien that came from her sister planet. And no one expected a relationship to be pushed between these two. None. Really, totally surprised. (Sarcasm)

On the plus side, they are playing up his naivete to the world very wonderfully. It is at that point where he just adorable in every way possible. I have a thing about dumb guys and Chris Wood really plays up Mon-El’s ignorance to his surroundings perfectly. By the way, I really feel like the show is making Mon-El into a Superboy character. Anyways, he is a cutie and hopefully this relationship won’t be a real thing. What do you think?

Supergirl Rebirth (3).Movie_Snapshot

Supergirl fans, here is DC Comics Rebirth issue on the famous female Kryptonian. Finally we have a Kara Zor-El that is acting like a real superhero and is doing her cousin proud. Here are my thoughts on this first story. This issue and the future series is being written by Steve Orlando. The artist is Emanuala Luppachino.

The EW has revealed that Supergirl has been renewed for a second season but she will be heading towards the CW instead remaining on CBS. This is great news in my book! Many fans are on the fence as to whether or not they like this show, but I am in full support of it. Melissa Benoist stars as Supergirl/Kara and I love her performance as the Girl (Woman) of Steel. She brings a very lighted heart tone that counter balances the Man of Steel movies that are out.

Super 2

This is incredible news for fans that are really into the idea of crossovers as Flash, Arrow and the Legends of Tomorrow are all on the CW. So this means we can one day have a huge epic crossover with the DC heroes that have been brought on the TV screen. Granted, Supergirl is in a different universe, but that’s a technicality. Flash can travel the dimensions easily.

What do you think? Is this good or bad, or do you not care? I know the fanbase is divided for supporting her show. I would love to see a mini Justice League episode or maybe just some be epic TV crossover that could involve Constantine, Arrow, Flash and Supergirl all battling a common foe. That would be pretty darn cool.

Supergirl DC Superhero girls (2).Movie_Snapshot

Reviewing the last two figures of the DC Super Hero Girls 6 inch toyline- Supergirl, the last of the first wave of DC Super Hero Girls figures. She is pretty darn cool and I like her a lot. Her bio reads:
Supergirl is so a-dork-able and totally out there. She is the most powerful teen on earth…if only she could stop tripping over her own two feet. And Poison Ivy Bio: When a botched lab experiment gave this wallflower the ability to control plants, her life changed forever. Now, she’s finally blossoming into her new life, and doing the best she can to adapt to her amazing new super powers.

So I watched the Supergirl pilot. Of course I was forced to watch it, because watching it would be illegal. But I did enjoy it a bit. It wasn’t the greatest thing ever, but it was decent. Here’s my thoughts on it.
