Holy hell, adult Bobby Drake aka Iceman, finally gets his first man on man kiss. It is totally worth the wait too! Him coming out as a gay man in his adult life is great. Also him being awkward in his interactions with other gay men is believable and such a cute story to read. This is a great title and I love how the story has progressed.

Something has been off in the Marvel Comic Book Universe for some time. So there is a new direction being taken in the coming months with Legacy #1. This one shot issue supplies lots of different stories that may interconnect, but also give turning points in many of the main characters that made Marvel great. Major spoilers in this video. Remember though, this is not DC Rebirth. (I’m lying, it is totally Marvel trying to their own version of DC’s Rebirth)

Remember Arrow from the Princess of Power cartoon/toy figures? This was the stead of the character Bow. The toy was blue and had wings but the cartoon was more of a tan color and had no wings at all. This beast/vehicle has wings, but is colored in a more in the way of the animation. Here’s my thoughts on it.

A Song of Heroes is an independent online comic book series that takes place on the planet of Emphyria. Here the Red Wizard is attempting to take the Protoskull to solidify his own power. This first volume has some background and origins of a couple of his minions and brings on the intro to the series Skaldor. This run is heavily influenced by the Masters of the Universe series. Some of the characters have even been created as fan made competitions as future action figure statues. Check out my thoughts on the first volume, which includes the first 4 issues published online.

Since Bobby Drake aka Iceman came out as being gay, there has been a lot of controversy over this decision in Marvel Comics. Personally, I think it’s a great idea to show a character that has been closeted for years to finally come out in his adult life. Of course this had to happen after his younger time displace self outed him first. But that’s another topic. This is a great first issue for this ongoing series that was written by Sina Grace and illustrated by Alessandro Vitti.

Great movie! It was adult enough for all audiences to enjoy but kidified enough for children to love as well. It plays homage to the original 1990’s series but also opens up the door for a new universe to expand upon. I love it myself. Spoilers involved in this review!

The bisexual Shatterstar finally gets the Marvel Legends treatment. Even better is that it’s the 90’s version of Shatterstar. Not that the current version is horribly drawn, but I like classic Shatterstar so much better. Here’s my thoughts on this Marvel Legends piece. Definitely worth it for any X-Force fan out there. Thank you Sam for getting me this figure!
