It’s comic book day! The Fantastic Four are back…mostly. We get a new title with Marvel’s first superhero family and you can just feel the spark of hope returning back to their universe. There’s lots of other titles that came out this week, but I could only get to a few myself. Check out my thoughts on my own comic book load in the attached video. What’s your comic load look like?

Captain America #2 is bringing Cap back to his roots and making trying to get over his tarnished reputation of being a Hydra Agent…that took over the US. Infinity Wars #1 has a major revelation and also a major death taking place. X-Men Gold #33 has Storm as an Asgardian Goddess, taking on another God in God War Part 1. Finally, we get a major all out brawl between Batman and Deathstroke. It was intense as hell. What’s you comic load this week?

It’s comic book day! In Doomsday Clock #6, we get the background story on the Mime and Marionette. Obviously it’s mired in tragedy but it’s also how they became supervillains. Amazing Spider-Man #2 we have Peter Parker returning back to being a college student and the Lizard aka Dr. Curt Connors is his professor. What could go wrong with that? Flash #51, we have the prologue for the Flash Wars and Wally is in desperate need of recovery. Both mentally and physically. Detective Comics #985, Batman is dealing with the notion that he is up against a new villain by the name of Karma. Who is he and where did he come from? Finally in Infinity Wars Prime #1 – the character of Requiem is introduced and she’s gunning straight for the big bad himself, Thanos. This another new character that we may have seen before or maybe she is something completely new. What’s you comic book look like today?

Oh damn, Bobby Drake aka Iceman gets it on with Simon Lasker aka the new Pyro in X-Men Gold #32. Although many people called it way before now, it’s still fracking awesome. Fire and Ice baby! There’s some other comic books that came out this week too, I included some of them in this video, check it out. What’s your load look like?

This week’s comic load is slightly different. My buddy, sidekick, and superman cutie – Cerolobo – helps out with his insights on this week’s comic book pull list. We couldn’t get to all of the comics we had a chance to read, but for his first non-spoilery comic book review, he did a great job! Check it out and let me know what you thought about the attached video.
Special note, Flash #50 came out this week and had a HUGE development that I will go into on my own in a separate video. I felt like it deserved its own video with this plot point taking place.

It’s comic book day! Man of Steel, the six issue mini series comes to an end and the whereabouts of Jonathan Kent is explained. Walking Dead #181 – More walkers…new civilization drama…etc. Nothing new really. Astonishing X-Men #13 – Havok tries to recruit his own team of X-Men, again. He gets a surprise from a long thought dead team member. X-Men Gold #31- Rachel Summers battles Mesmero in a mind battle that translates to reality. Captain America #1 – Another number one, because reasons. Selene is the big baddie this go around, which should be interesting to see her battle Cap later down the road. Finally, Batman #50 – The Wedding issue! Major spoiler for this issue, even though most people were already spoiled long before this issue hit stands. Check out my thoughts on this weeks comic load! It’s comic book day! A few good ones came out on this Wednesday. I think Thor #1 started out great with a lot of potential in future storylines. Venom is another gem that I’m particularly interested in. Nightwing starting his own Titans team with the endorsement of the Justice League is great with Titans Special #1. Flash Wars in Flash #48 is looking to reconnect old characters. The final issue of Super-Man and the Justice League of China #24 is the last of our solo series involving Kong Kenan as Super-Man…for now! What does your load look like this week?

It’s an AMAZING comic book day! See what I did there? Amazing Spider-Man #800 is out and one of Spidey’s buddies do not make it through this issue when the Red Goblin charges through his rampage. Rogol Zaar is a new Kryptonian killer in the first issue of The Man of Steel series. Jean Grey ponders her existence in X-Men Red Annual #1. Havok comes to his senses after turning slightly evil in X-Men Blue #28. Captain Marvel gets help from other Captain Marvels in Infinity Countdown Captain Marvel #1. Batman meets Ozymandias and Johnny Thunder finds Alan Scott’s Green Lantern in Doomsday Clock #5. Here’s my thoughts on this week’s comic load in the attached video. What’s your load look like?

It’s comic book book day! Wonder Woman takes on Darkseid directly one on one. This is a great battle. There’s also a Donna Troy story where Donna escapes the Watchtower…although she was not technically a prisoner. There’s a new line up for the X-Men Blue team while Cassandra Nova wreaks havoc among the X-Men Blue team. Meanwhile in Detective Comics, poor Tim Drake is under attack by Ulysses Armstrong. This could be the end for his storyline, but I am hoping that this will not be the case. Check out this out in the attached video.
