It is the third issue of the 1980’s He-Man and the Masters of the Universe magazine. This issue has their own unique version of the origin of the Horde plus two cool posters and lots of nostalgia promos as well. Check out my thoughts on this edition in the attached video.

It’s fan favorite Crita, from the New Adventures of He-Man series. She was part of the “Space Mutants’ as categorized from the Masters of the Universe Classics series. Major shout out to my buddy Long Haired Creepy Guy for getting this figure for me! Check out my thoughts on this figure in the attached YouTube video.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe are going to be fighting up against or teaming up in some instances, with the the DC Injustice Universe. I do not know if this is a good or bad thing, but I will take anything with He-Man at this point. The Masters of the Universe…Universe…has been in limbo for a bit and should have an ongoing comic book series. For reasons, they just have been shelved.

Tim Seeley will be the writer for this series. He will be teaming up with artist Freddie E. Williams II, who I am a huge fan of myself. He drew my boy Tim Drake in his Robin series for a bit and did a fantastic job. He also was the artist for the He-Man/Thundercats crossover mini series.

The synopsis for the 6 issue mini series reads: Believing He-Man and the Masters of the Universe defeated, a robotic impostor (FAKER?!) has seized control of Eternia—but not for long! After freeing his kingdom from this strongman’s rule, He-Man learns not everyone is pleased to see the pretender deposed—but Adam knows the value of freedom. When heroes from another dimension ask his aid in deposing a superhero turned dictator, he agrees. Teaming up with Batman against the Superman of the Injustice Universe, He-Man and his new allies face dangerous and familiar enemies in a battle where no world is safe!

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe has had several comic book series. They even had a comic book series with DC Comics existing in their universe had a crossover taking place on Earth. This series had a great ending, but left readers wanting more. Particularly from He-Man’s twin sister, She-Ra. There have been reports of a new movie to be made, which this itself has been in limbo for over 30 years. There was a great crossover with Thundercats, that made 80’s kids rejoice. The toyline Super7 has kept the figures going, but not a lot more for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe has never been revealed. With Injustice, which is a much darker DC universe, we may see some very twisted and re-imagining of characters that most Masters of the Universe fans are not used to seeing.

It’s Clamp Champ, the Heroic Masters of Capture. He’s also King Randor’s bodyguard and a great action figure from the Masters of the Universe Classics toyline. Thank you Mr. Theo for getting me this guy, he’s great! Check out my thoughts on the figure in the attached video.

It’s TrapJaw 2.0 from the Masters of the Universe Classics Filmation series. He closely resembles his 1980s cartoon counterpart but still has all the articulation of the Classics style of toys. Such an awesome figure! Thank you Rashnu for getting this!

Mumm-Ra and Skeletor have enslaved the ancient spirits of evil and have them attacking Eternia. Without He-Man and Lion-O, who are traveling back from Third Earth, it is up to the combined forces of the Thundercats and the Masters of the Universe to stop them. This is a fun issue with lots of action and battles taking place. It is worth it just to see Jaga and the Sorceress working together. Unfortunately there’s only one more issue left, but potentially capable of continuing on.

Did you know that there existed a Masters of the Universe newspaper comic strip that was published in select newspapers around the world? It did exist and it expanded on the original 1980s-1990s He-Man Universe that most fans never knew existed. Thanks to Danielle Gelehrter, Val Stapkes, Eric Marshall, and Raunak Singh for making this possible. This book is published by Dark Horse Comics.

The 4th issue of the He-Man/Thundercats crossover is out. Prince Adam has died from wounds inflicted by Mumm-Ra. Lion-O takes it upon himself to try and save the Prince of Eternia, which blows up in his face because it causes He-Man to go insane. We finally get a battle between the King of the Thundercats and the Most Powerful Man in the Universe. It is epic!

We are half way through the He-Man/Thundercats crossover from DC Comics. Skeletor has supposedly killed Mumm-Ra and taken the power of He-Man for himself. But luckily the Thundercats have finally entered the fight. We get to see an awesome clash of cats vs the Overload of Evil. It is an epic story that fans have been waiting to see for decades! Check out my thoughts on the issue in this video.

It’s the second issue for the He-Man/Thundercats crossover that fans have been waiting to see for over 30 years. This issue is more Masters of the Universe heavy and barely shows the Thundercats, but we get an epic battle. The Mutants and Skeletor’s henchmen join forces to take on the Most Powerful Man in the Universe himself. Plus Skeletor has a huge upgrade thanks to Mumm-Ra. Great second issue!
