This is it, the epic conclusion to the Flash War in Flash #50 and holy hell, there was such a huge surprise at the end of this series. It is potentially going to link to much bigger stories down the line that could incorporate other heroes that have been sorely missing in the DC Universe. Check out my thoughts in the attached video for this comic book review but be warned, MAJOR SPOILERS!

I have yet to see the movie Love, Simon but one its stars Keiynan Lonsdale, which I associate him more for being Kid Flash, released this music video entitled Kiss the Boy. Lots of people from around the world submitted videos to be the focus of the video and it is so incredibly sweet that it made me start to cry. This is quite beautiful. Check it out when you get a chance. Also, if you are not aware of this, Keiynan identifies as bisexual.

Most people are aware of this, but just in case a couple of you missed it, Kid Flash actor Keiynan Lonsdale aka Wally West, recently came out as bisexual. He said this in a wonderful post on Instagram and retweeted on Twitter.

This man is awesome! I feel like he’s been underused on the Flash series, and I was hoping that his character would not be completely heterosexual. Still, that does not mean that he cannot be a bisexual character and that he could get a huge push next season. With that, here’s some awesome pics of Keiynan.

In case you were not aware, another male bisexual actor on Flash was Andy Mientus who plays Pied Piper. Coincidentally, the Pied Piper is a gay character himself.

Yes on March 28, 2016, The Flash will be crossing over to Supergirl’s TV show. I’m so stoked about this! I love both shows and I love that they can make a crossover happen. Constantine crossed over to the Arrow show earlier in the season, so seeing Supergirl also show up is just awesome! If you’re not watching either show, you are missing out. Both are incredibly well written and I can not wait to see this happen.

The executive producers of the shows (Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg) stated:

We are so incredibly excited to announce something that we have dreamed of happening since we starting making Supergirl – The Flash and Supergirl are teaming up! We want to thank Grant Gustin for making the time to come visit and all of the folks at CBS, The CW, Warner Bros. and DC for working this out. And finally thanks to the fans and journalists who have kept asking for this to happen. It is our pleasure and hope to create an episode worthy of everyone’s enthusiasm and support.”

So stay tuned, it should be an interesting month!

Supergirl Flash 2

Jesse Quick

Violett Beane has been officially cast in the role as Jesse Quick on the Flash TV show. This is wonderful news as we now have the role of Wally West, Kid Flash being filled by Keiynan Lonsdale and the role of Jay Garrick, Golden Age Flash being played by Teddy Sears.

FLash Team

If you are unaware, in DC Comics, Jesse Quick is a speedster and daughter of Johnny Quick, another speedster and Liberty Belle, another superheroine herself. Johnny Quick is a speedster through the use of a Speed Formula to which his daughter Jesse is able to use as well. Unlike other speedsters that rely solely on their speed powers to attain superhuman feats, Jesse also has her mother’s super strength as well. Although in the show, this may not be the case.

Fastest Woman Alive

Also for a very brief time, Jesse actually served as THE Flash when Wally West was looking for a replacement. That turned out to be a trick to motivate Bart Allen, Impulse, into being more serious about his duties as becoming the Flash himself one day. We will not go into that storyline though.

Full Flash Team

This season of Flash is going to be pretty epic. So far we have five Speedsters if you include Reverse Flash, Kid Flash, Golden Age Flash, Barry Allen Flash and Jesse Quick. I cannot wait to see how all of these superhero shows are going to work out!

With most of the season finales hitting us, a lot of superhero series have already ended. I enjoyed most of these sagas and I can’t wait for Fall to see the continuation of the series that were renewed. What did you think of the superhero shows that we got this past year? A lot of people compare Flash and Daredevil as being the top 2. Is that accurate or did I forget a show?
