Comic Load 1.6.2016 (2).Movie_Snapshot

Comic Load Wednesday – 1/6/2016. I will be discussing several misc. comic books that I read on a weekly basis. Some are new, most will be recent comics that have been released this week or the previous week if I was unable to obtain them for whatever reason. I will try to keep all of the discussions brief and to the point without giving too many details. It would not be fair spoil everything. Some comics will be talked about separately in a different video because I really care about certain titles more than others, such as the Midnighter series or possibly Masters of the Universe. Anyways, the following comic issues (without spoilers) is my comic load this week:
Batman Beyond #8
Star Wars #14
Darth Vader #15
Spider-Man/Deadpool #1
Totally Awesome Hulk #2
X-Men – Worst X-Man Ever #1
Uncanny X-Men #1

Part 2 to The Powers of Grayskull storyline that started back in the mid 1980s is here. He-Ro Unleashed finally introduces us to the legendary He-Ro, the most powerful wizard in the world. He-Man and He-Ro fight side by side in this epic mini comic book that was released from the Masters of the Universe Classics toyline. It is very epic and a great read.

Young Avengers Vol 2 FINAL Vimeo.Movie_Snapshot

This is the second part to the Young Avengers first series that debut from Marvel Comics back in 2005. This review encompasses issues #7-12 and includes two stories. This first story is called Secret Identities and revolves around Patriot and his abilities as a superhero. The second story is a background story that explains Hulkling’s unique origin. Incredibly original story and great artwork illustrating this team’s dynamics.

Hercules 1 YOUTUBE (4).Movie_Snapshot

Jem and the Holograms from IDW Comics. I reviewed all of these titles individually before on my former YouTube account, so I figured I’d revisit them all as a whole in the first volume. The series is great and if you ignore and pretend that the movie never happened, you can have an untarnished memory of this great fandom that exists. Check out my thoughts on the first six issues of this series in the video below.

Jim Cheung and Allen Heinberg join forces for this first volume of the series. Watch the video below to see me thoughts on issues 1-6 of this epic series.

Hercules 1 (3).Movie_Snapshot

Hercules may have been decreed by Marvel Comic Book Editor in Chief – Axel Alonso as NOT being gay, but you could totally fool the reader. This was a great first issue, but Hercules screams hot sexy dad. He’s half naked and cooking in his first panel appearance in the comic. Not that I am complaining. This first issue of Hercules has a solid start, with an introduction into the immortal hero’s life. The series will focus on his travels on Earth as he has adjusted to learning that he is no longer the lone superhero on the planet. Ancient foes will be focused on with a modern twist. He has a new uniform and a unique outlook towards life as he incorporates technology with the powers of ancient Greece to aid him along the way.
