Holy hell, adult Bobby Drake aka Iceman, finally gets his first man on man kiss. It is totally worth the wait too! Him coming out as a gay man in his adult life is great. Also him being awkward in his interactions with other gay men is believable and such a cute story to read. This is a great title and I love how the story has progressed.

New York Comic Con 2017 was incredible! I saw so many awesome costumes and displays. I spent most of it with my buddies in costume. We went to a Ghostbusters experience and I volunteered at the LGBT HQ booth on the last day of the con. I also got to show off my new Ray costume, which I loved! I still have to make some modifications and I may paint the helmet gold, but I haven’t decided yet. Here’s a bunch of the pics.

Awesome comic book week! We discover Mr. Oz’s identity. Maxima (the AWESOME version of her) takes on both Superwoman and Supergirl. Scarlet Spider meets up with Mistress Death. Flash is still dealing the Negative Speed Force. Batman and all of his sidekicks take on the Justice League (kinda sorta) and more on this week’s comic book load. What’s your load look like?

What would be a good name for an archenemy for the GayComicCorps? The nemesis is gay himself and has more like an Xavier vs. Magneto relationship to the Corp. This is not an Anti-Gay man and he is not a self hating closeted character at all. Both sides want equality for the LGBT community. But both sides use different means to achieve this goal. What do you think would be a good name?

A Song of Heroes is an independent online comic book series that takes place on the planet of Emphyria. Here the Red Wizard is attempting to take the Protoskull to solidify his own power. This first volume has some background and origins of a couple of his minions and brings on the intro to the series Skaldor. This run is heavily influenced by the Masters of the Universe series. Some of the characters have even been created as fan made competitions as future action figure statues. Check out my thoughts on the first volume, which includes the first 4 issues published online.

It’s comic book day! Lots of goodies came out this week. One of my favorite was seeing Odinson Thor meeting up with Jane Foster Thor and the two of them taking on Apocalypse. Not to mention we find out that Odin hooked up with the Phoenix. Check out my thoughts on my comic load from this week. What’s your load look like?

Now he has learn how to be a superhero too. How’s he going to cope with this? Here are my thoughts on this first issue of Spectrum from TwoGargs.com
