Dean and Castiel

I love SUPERNATURAL! Been a fan from the beginning. But what I love more than anything, is the bromance between the angel Castiel (Misha Collins) and the Demon Hunter Winchester brother- Dean (Jensen Akles). What’s even better, there’s a huge community of gay men and many screaming woman, who are dying to see them cross that line and be an actual couple on the show. So much so, that there’s many fanfics, photoshopped pics and many gifs that show very clearly how much these two should be together.

It seems only fitting that the two actors won best Teen Choice Award for TV Chemistry. I know what that title says, but to me, that’s teens saying that they won best couple. In real life, these two actors are great friends and both even play up to their gay and women fans by doing many things that melt their fans into wanting to see them actually be together in real life.

So I for won, congratulate Misha Collins and Jensen Ackles on their award and I cannot wait until the new season of Supernatural starts up. If you haven’t watched the show, I highly recommend that you do. It is incredibly awesome!

Geo Club

Geography Club is a gay coming of age movie that’s based on a book by the same name. In fact, there’s a book series based on these characters. From what I read online, the books are pretty good and easy reads. I may pick them up some point down the line. Here’s my thoughts on the first movie that was made.

Hoover Robots (2).Movie_Snapshot

Masters of the Universe Classics is coming to an end soon (supposedly) and we were able to get some figures that we never thought that we’d get. Here, we got Skeletor’s Hoover Robots from the original Filmation series. Pretty cool, and I’m loving them! Check out my thoughts below.

Kissing Superman and Batman

Jesse Phillips aka Facebook.com/JessoLaurusRex is at it again! This guy is super awesome, a cutie and freaking huge as fuck! He’s totally straight but loves to kiss other male costumers. I’m starting to think that I’m the only cosplayer that he hasn’t kissed. But rest assured, I WILL meet him and definitely give him the lip treatment. Hopefully multiple times in different costumes, with Robin being the first!

Angemon 3

If you ever saw Digimon, or at least the first 2 seasons, a character by the name of Angemon. He starts out as Patamon, but evolves and becomes a badass character. In fact, I think he’s a more badass character than any of the Digimon. Agumon always got all the attention for some reason, but I digress. This costume is a dream costume of mine. The character is so cool and the look and design are beyond words. There’s a couple others that have attempted this costume that you can see below. Still great costumes in their own right too.

And for reference, here’s Angemon and Angewoman in the toon series. It was a great show.

Doctor 1

I love Geek weddings! There’s so few that are done right, and even fewer where the couple is a same sex couple. This Doctor Who wedding between Dallas, TX couple – TJ Mundell and Timmy Patterson, is so awesome. I can not even explain it. This is a union between the 9th and 10th Doctors…or is it 10th and 11th Doctors now? It’s always a confusion within the Whovian community.

All the photos were taken at ShaunMenary.com and I am impressed with this work. Check out the rest of their pics below. I am sure there are even more, but these are incredible.

Doctor 9

It is official, network President of CW, Mark Pedowitz, said that a Friday the 13th TV series is in the works for 2016 release. The series will be written by Steve Mitchell & Craig Van Sickle, creators of the 1996 NBC series The Pretender. And this will actually be about Jason Voorhees and have nothing to do with the previous Friday the 13th series that was released. The site, Deadline said that the series is “described as a sophisticated, horror/crime thriller, the potential Friday The 13th series is about the ongoing quest of a detective’s search for his missing brother that is somehow tied to Jason Vorhees, a long thought dead serial killer who has now returned to wreak havoc in the new Crystal Lake.”

So, good news, we get a Friday the 13th series. Bad news, it’s on the CW. I guess it could be worse. Supernatural is on the CW and that’s a badass show that gives us some pretty gory scenes. It is still a bit censored, but not a whole lot. And the Friday the 13th series sounds like it is not taking a lead from the MTV show, Scream. With that show, I’m not a big fan.

Freddy vs Jason vs Ash

I am a big fan many slasher movies and I do love the Friday the 13th films. I love the series, even the cheesiness of all the stupid scenes of people that you just know are going to die. I even love the last couple installments before the reboot. I even read the comic book series with Ash vs. Jason vs. Freddy series. I was secretly wanting Jason to win, even though I knew it was going to be a draw. I’m still waiting for a crossover between them all and Hellraiser, so that Pinhead can get involved. Did you know that there was a comic with Jason squaring off against Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre?

Jason vs Leatherface

Anyways, are you a fan of the Friday the 13th series? Is this good news?

Secret Wars 5 (2).Movie_Snapshot

The Marvel Universe is being shaken pretty bad in the comics right now. Literally, all of it’s superhero titles are mixed in with the Secret War storyline. It is pretty epic. Here’s my thoughts on issue #5 of this series. Are you reading the series yourself?
