Here is the second part to Outclique and my collab video on the lead up to the Avengers: Infinity War movie. This features the shirtless and super hot model – Pup Napoleon aka #PlayNapoleon. Actually it’s their video and it’s featuring me, but he’s the star of this channel and such a great guy to work with. There are no spoilers in this video. The final video will feature spoilers, so stay turned for that.

It’s fan favorite Crita, from the New Adventures of He-Man series. She was part of the “Space Mutants’ as categorized from the Masters of the Universe Classics series. Major shout out to my buddy Long Haired Creepy Guy for getting this figure for me! Check out my thoughts on this figure in the attached YouTube video.

Have you seen the Deadpool 2 final trailer? We only see see actor Lewis Tan in the role of the Bisexual & Polyamorous Shatterstar for a few seconds, but it was worth it. Granted, the red wig is odd to see in real life, but lots of comic book drawn characteristics never translate well for the cinematic universe. I cosplayed as Shatterstar once at a convention, however I used a more orang-ish wig for Shatterstar’s look. Tan’s version is much more red. I can’t wait to see this movie. What do you think of this?

It’s the 1000th issue of Action Comics and Superman’s 80th Anniversary special. He is considered the first comic book superhero and has a plethora of stories made by many different writers through the decades. Created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster – Superman is iconic and the most well known comic superhero of all time. Check out my thoughts on this 1000th issue as DC Comics collects several different short stories that all spotlights the Man of Steel.

Treasure Hunter Jox is back in the 5th issue of writer/artist Tom Cray’s Class Comic series. He recently was released by his kinda/sorta lover Ganymede and now is being chased after by Reiwulf. However, there may be some other beings that are also mixed in the fray. Check out my thoughts on this comic book in the attached video.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe are going to be fighting up against or teaming up in some instances, with the the DC Injustice Universe. I do not know if this is a good or bad thing, but I will take anything with He-Man at this point. The Masters of the Universe…Universe…has been in limbo for a bit and should have an ongoing comic book series. For reasons, they just have been shelved.

Tim Seeley will be the writer for this series. He will be teaming up with artist Freddie E. Williams II, who I am a huge fan of myself. He drew my boy Tim Drake in his Robin series for a bit and did a fantastic job. He also was the artist for the He-Man/Thundercats crossover mini series.

The synopsis for the 6 issue mini series reads: Believing He-Man and the Masters of the Universe defeated, a robotic impostor (FAKER?!) has seized control of Eternia—but not for long! After freeing his kingdom from this strongman’s rule, He-Man learns not everyone is pleased to see the pretender deposed—but Adam knows the value of freedom. When heroes from another dimension ask his aid in deposing a superhero turned dictator, he agrees. Teaming up with Batman against the Superman of the Injustice Universe, He-Man and his new allies face dangerous and familiar enemies in a battle where no world is safe!

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe has had several comic book series. They even had a comic book series with DC Comics existing in their universe had a crossover taking place on Earth. This series had a great ending, but left readers wanting more. Particularly from He-Man’s twin sister, She-Ra. There have been reports of a new movie to be made, which this itself has been in limbo for over 30 years. There was a great crossover with Thundercats, that made 80’s kids rejoice. The toyline Super7 has kept the figures going, but not a lot more for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe has never been revealed. With Injustice, which is a much darker DC universe, we may see some very twisted and re-imagining of characters that most Masters of the Universe fans are not used to seeing.

Have you met Kevin aka KamCosplay? I have only met him once myself at NYCC, but his Robin costume made me weak in the knees. After stalking exploring some of his other works, I saw that he is stupendous cosplayer with all of his work. Also side note, he has been happily married to his husband Derek for 5 years and will be celebrating their 6th anniversary come July. I have collected a couple of Kevin’s costume pictures to show off his skill.

It’s comic book book day! Wonder Woman takes on Darkseid directly one on one. This is a great battle. There’s also a Donna Troy story where Donna escapes the Watchtower…although she was not technically a prisoner. There’s a new line up for the X-Men Blue team while Cassandra Nova wreaks havoc among the X-Men Blue team. Meanwhile in Detective Comics, poor Tim Drake is under attack by Ulysses Armstrong. This could be the end for his storyline, but I am hoping that this will not be the case. Check out this out in the attached video.

This is the first Masters of the Universe Magazine that came out back in the winter 1985. There were many products that came out with He-Man on it, and several of these media outlets included comics, storybooks and this magazine. Check out my thoughts on this first issue in the attached video.

Whoa, Robin (the character) has been around for over 75 years! The 2015 book ‘Robin, The Boy Wonder: A Celebration of 75 Years’ celebrates this by collecting several stories from many of the past characters to hold the mantle of Batman’s sometime sidekick. I did not go through every story presented in this book, but I do spotlight some of the important ones in this book review.
You can purchase this book in both digital and hard cover version on Comixology/Amazon.
