It’s Jitsu! I mean, Chopper. He’s from the Masters of the Universe Classics Super7 Filmation series. He only made one appearance in the original 1980s cartoon, but it was memorable. Thank you Michael for getting me this figure at Power Con 2018. I hope to get more of the Filmation series figures at some point down the line.

The Masters of the Universe community is divided on the upcoming She-Ra and the Princesses of Power series coming November 16, 2018 to Netflix. The style is much different than the original 1980s series and the story may very likely not involve She-Ra’s iconic twin brother, He-Man aka Prince Adam at all. The new teaser for the series has been released and still, there are many that either hate this look or they love it. What do you think about it yourself?

I am not a hardcore gaymer by a long shot, but I do enjoy a few of them here and there when the opportunity arises. I have not played Insomniac’s Spider-Man game myself, but I have a few friends who have shown me what it entails, and wow! It appears to be one of the best made for the wall crawler yet. The trailers alone show what it really means to be Peter Parker and what he goes through to be better than the average hero while maintaining that he has unsurmountable will to over come anything that comes his way.

There are a lot of references as well to what is happening in real world as well. Rainbow Pride flags are shown prevalently and proudly. J. Jonah Jameson, who is always on the crazier side of conspiracies, is even more so now with an Alex Jones feel to him. Meanwhile, the Kingpin of Crime, Wilson Fisk, has his tower looking suspiciously like Drumpf’s, I mean Trump’s own tower.

All of that is not even talking about the incredible storyline and smooth game play. The graphics alone make this game worth it. Oh yeah, the Ghostbusters Firehouse is in it as part of NYC. How fracking cool is that?! So is anyone playing this? I am curious as to how you feel about it.

One last thing, if you pre-ordered the game from certain shops, you could also start out with different Spider-Verse costumes. Or just alternate reality versions of Spidey. Including one of my favorite – Spider-Punk!

In Action Comics #1002, Superman punches some rocks. At least Guardian showed up. Amazing Spider-Man #4 – Spider-Man and Peter Parker are separated into two beings. That’s not good. X-Men Gold #34 – Storm takes on a would-be-god trying to take over her home village. X-Men Red #7 – Jean unites her X-team and get ready to take down Cassandra Nova. Flash #52 – Flash and Commander Cold take on a Strength Force enhanced Trickster. Batman Beyond #23 – Batman fights not only the new Scarecrow but also his new sidekick – Robin Beyond. Finally in Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes – The new Avengers team take down the Celestials and save Earth. What’s your load look like?

I never knew I wanted to see Bane ATTEMPT to punch He-Man before until I read this issue. He-Man has been recruited by the remaining heroes of Earth to take down the tyrannical rule of Superman/Wonder Woman/Batman and their Brainiac mind controlled Suicide Squad. Can He-Man take on the Kryptonian? The fight is being built up to be epic! Check out my thoughts on this second issue to this 6-Issue mini series written by Tim Seeley and drawn by Freddie E Williams II.

During the prohibition era in the United States, the country was a much different place. This story takes place doing that era with the protagonist/antagonist Angelface as a thief who betrays his partner/lover and gets hustled into working for the the Black Rook gang. His former partner, Red follows him across the world to get answers and may come to his rescue despite how he was treated. This was written and drawn by Benoît Prévot and the series is published by Class Comics.

It’s comic book day! The Fantastic Four are back…mostly. We get a new title with Marvel’s first superhero family and you can just feel the spark of hope returning back to their universe. There’s lots of other titles that came out this week, but I could only get to a few myself. Check out my thoughts on my own comic book load in the attached video. What’s your comic load look like?
