Infinity Gauntlet 5 Comic Book Review (2).Movie_Snapshot

Thanos seems to be supreme as he has defeated Earth’s heroes. But now he must fight the cosmic guardians of the universe.

This issue shows Thanos taking on the most powerful cosmic entities in the Marvel Universe. Even with the power of the Infinity Gauntlet, he must be on his guard. Luckily, he does have the power of God.

Back to the Future 1 (3).Movie_Snapshot

Yes boys and girls, October 21, 2015 is officially Back to the Future day! It’s fitting that their comic book would come out on this day as well. I’m a huge Back to the Future fan. In fact, I’ve seen all of the movies multiple times as well as the cartoon series. It was fantastic back then and today I think it has survived the test of time. They may not have predicted 2015 very well, but the story itself is incredible. Here’s the first comic book of the IDW series. Enjoy!

Star Wars Stattered Empire 2 (2).Movie_Snapshot

With the excitement of Star Wars- The Force Awakens, I went through and re-read all the recent Star Wars comics from Marvel Comics. I forgot that I was reviewed the Shattered Empire series. This series is a prequel to the Force Awakens movie and takes place immediately after the battle of Endor that took place in Return of the Jedi. Check out my thoughts on this issue, in the video below.

Fuck Fairyland Comic Book Review (3).Movie_Snapshot

What happens if you get sucked into a fantasy land that seems epic and beautiful as a child but get stuck there for your entire life? Well you’re not going to be the most balanced person after a while. That’s what happens with Gertrude, who is sucked into Fairyland. Skottie Young both wrote and drew this comic from Image Comics and it is pretty darn messed up. It’s awesome!

The New Avengers 1 (2).Movie_Snapshot

Yes, Wiccan and Hulkling are back in the New Avengers #1 from Marvel Comics. Also, for some reason, Squirrel Girl is part of the team. She’s mostly been comedic relief up to this point, but maybe she will be useful sometime down the road. She did defeat Thanos.

The comic starts off good, introduces the main villain and let’s the reader know that the upcoming issues are going to be going in different directions than previous Avenger teams. The team up of the characters are vastly different and should prove to be a good read for future issues.

jem Annual (3).Movie_Snapshot
The first annual Jem and the Holograms comic book just recently came out. Pretty darn awesome! It comprises of four individual stories from the standpoint of each of the four members of the band. This does not really affect continuity too much, but it definitely was a fun read.

Midnighter 5 (4).Movie_Snapshot

Previously, Midnighter teamed up with Agent 37, aka Dick Grayson, in his mission to retrieve many pieces of technology that was stolen from the God Garden.

In this issue we conclude the small arc with Agent 37 helping Midnighter. Interesting read with excellent art that is illustrated throughout the issue. The story is consistent in the overall storyarc with Midnighter unraveling the keys to who is behind stealing the artifacts and tech from the God Garden. His banter with Dick Grayson is incredible and they definitely need to have a team up with Batman at some point down the line. Check out my thoughts on the issue in the video below.

Infinity Gauntlet 4 Complete (2).Movie_Snapshot

The epic battle between the remain heroes of Earth who have banded together under the leader ship of Adam Warlock, finally takes place. And this battle is one of the greatest battles that Marvel comics had produced up to this point. Thanos does appear to be unstoppable with his possession of the Infinity Gems. Infinity Gauntlet 3 Complete (2).Movie_Snapshot

The team has been formed and the big battle for the universe is about to take place. The Infinity Gauntlet saga, #3 takes up where part 2 left off with the Earth being knocked off it’s axis and starting to float away from the sun. The universe could be destroyed on a whim by Thanos of Titan, who now possesses all 6 of the Infinity Gems and now has the power of God. This a great read with incredible artwork. Check out on my thoughts on issue number 3.
