The new Antman and Wasp trailer is out! This is a huge contrast in difference between the tone from the Infinity War movie. Which is needed! Obviously Antman and Wasp will not be on the same epic scale of Avengers, but this could explain a few missing components that was noticeably absent. I will most definitely watch this movie. What do you think?

Have you seen the Deadpool 2 final trailer? We only see see actor Lewis Tan in the role of the Bisexual & Polyamorous Shatterstar for a few seconds, but it was worth it. Granted, the red wig is odd to see in real life, but lots of comic book drawn characteristics never translate well for the cinematic universe. I cosplayed as Shatterstar once at a convention, however I used a more orang-ish wig for Shatterstar’s look. Tan’s version is much more red. I can’t wait to see this movie. What do you think of this?

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe are going to be fighting up against or teaming up in some instances, with the the DC Injustice Universe. I do not know if this is a good or bad thing, but I will take anything with He-Man at this point. The Masters of the Universe…Universe…has been in limbo for a bit and should have an ongoing comic book series. For reasons, they just have been shelved.

Tim Seeley will be the writer for this series. He will be teaming up with artist Freddie E. Williams II, who I am a huge fan of myself. He drew my boy Tim Drake in his Robin series for a bit and did a fantastic job. He also was the artist for the He-Man/Thundercats crossover mini series.

The synopsis for the 6 issue mini series reads: Believing He-Man and the Masters of the Universe defeated, a robotic impostor (FAKER?!) has seized control of Eternia—but not for long! After freeing his kingdom from this strongman’s rule, He-Man learns not everyone is pleased to see the pretender deposed—but Adam knows the value of freedom. When heroes from another dimension ask his aid in deposing a superhero turned dictator, he agrees. Teaming up with Batman against the Superman of the Injustice Universe, He-Man and his new allies face dangerous and familiar enemies in a battle where no world is safe!

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe has had several comic book series. They even had a comic book series with DC Comics existing in their universe had a crossover taking place on Earth. This series had a great ending, but left readers wanting more. Particularly from He-Man’s twin sister, She-Ra. There have been reports of a new movie to be made, which this itself has been in limbo for over 30 years. There was a great crossover with Thundercats, that made 80’s kids rejoice. The toyline Super7 has kept the figures going, but not a lot more for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe has never been revealed. With Injustice, which is a much darker DC universe, we may see some very twisted and re-imagining of characters that most Masters of the Universe fans are not used to seeing.

Oh hell’s yes, did you see Finn Bálor’s entrance on Wrestlemania 34? Bálor promoted inclusion for the LGBT community and embraced his fandom as he walked in with several members of his Balor Club. Unfortunately I did not see it live, but I would have totally broke down crying if I did. I used to be into wrestling as a young pup and I slowly just stopped paying attention to it as an adult. Bálor himself is not gay himself, but back in college, I had the dream that one day I would see a WWE/WCW gay storyline with a new character, that was NOT a joke that heterosexuals could laugh about. Of course many of my straight friends just thought it was ludicrous as no one would watch gay wrestling. They had no idea how much gay wrestling porn existed. That’s another topic altogether.

Regardless, I am a Finn Bálor fan and I wish I knew more about him before today. He is my ManCrush today and I feel like others should see him too. Below is his entrance and it does give me goosebumps seeing him.

Also if you are interested in his shirt, it is available for sale at the WWE website. The site even states: From April 2, 2018 through June 30, 2018, WWE will donate 20% of the sales price (before applicable sales tax) of each Balor Club “For Everyone” T-shirt sold on to GLAAD. I have yet to see the movie Love, Simon but one its stars Keiynan Lonsdale, which I associate him more for being Kid Flash, released this music video entitled Kiss the Boy. Lots of people from around the world submitted videos to be the focus of the video and it is so incredibly sweet that it made me start to cry. This is quite beautiful. Check it out when you get a chance. Also, if you are not aware of this, Keiynan identifies as bisexual.

The first look at the animated Death of Superman two parter from WB has been shown. It will not be faithful to the comic book storyline of the same name but instead push their New 52 animated Universe. This is disappointing. The Dark Knight Returns 2-part animated movie was very faithful to the original comic book story and I was hoping that this would be the same. It will not. The Death of Superman has already been over done with the live action form and having a Doomsday/Superman animated movie done in 2007, which was horrible in my own personal opinion.

What I am more disappointed about is that the original Death of Superman storyline is quite well done and includes many characters in Superman’s life that is NOT the big Justice Leaguers that are common place now. Guy Gardner and Maxima are two characters that I was hoping to see with more screen time. Hell, it would be great to see Blue Beetle and Booster Gold get a little bromantic time during this film.

The return of Superman is also where we get Superboy (Kon-El), the Eradicator Superman, Man of Steel (John Henry Irons), and Cyborg Superman. I am curious if all of these characters will be brought into part 2 or whether or not we will have Superboy erased from the story, as DC Comics has done recently in their current storyline. I will give this a chance, but I have low hopes of being impressed. I know I am being geeky-critical, but this is still disappointing to me. What do you think?

Oh hell’s yes! Shatterstar has been confirmed to be played by Iron Fist actor Lewis Tan in Deadpool 2. This is awesome news! I’ve been a huge fan of Tan since I saw him on Iron Fist. He was by far my favorite character that appeared in that series. Plus he’s super hella-hot! I know it may be too much to see much of Shatterstar’s bisexuality in the upcoming Deadpool 2 movie, but I can still hope. I am going to start binge watching the show, Into The Badlands, which he is set to be a part of season 3 as a reoccurring character.

Check out Lewis Twitter site for more info on him. Here’s one of his latest Tweets:

The Toys That Made Us, the documentary series based on children toys, has been renewed for a second season according to Hollywood Report. This does not count the second half of season one that will include four more episodes set to air on Netflix within a couple months. If you have not watched this series yet, check it out. They’re great and so informative. The first four episodes are based on Star Wars, Masters of the Universe, Barbie and GI Joe. The second half will include Transformers, Hello Kitty, Lego and Star Trek. What toy series do you think season two should be based about?

Archer Season 9, which is only 8 episodes, officially starts on FXX on April 25, 2018. The series has been a hit or miss for many fans of the series. They moved away from their original premise of being a spy agency to being drug sellers, then working for the CIA, then becoming a private investigation agency and last season all took place within Sterling Archer’s subconscious as he lays in a coma.

This upcoming season is described as: In the middle of this, seaplane pilot and semi-functioning alcoholic Sterling Archer is drinking, screwing, gambling, and generally bumbling around French Polynesia with a smart-ass parrot named Crackers,” executive producer Matt Thompson explained at the Archer panel. “Welcome to Danger Island.”

The whole cast is set to return for season 9, with all of them playing new roles similar to season 8’s Dreamland storyline. Aisha Tyler (Lana) will be a princess. Jessica Walter (Malory Archer) will still play Sterling’s mom Malory Archer, but she will be a bar owner. H. Jon Benjamin (Sterling) will will play Archer “except that he’s got an eye patch and he’s a sea pilot.” Amber Nash (Pam) will be Archer’s “loyal sidekick and co-pilot.” Judy Greer (Cheryl/Carol) is heiress Charlotte, who initially arrived on the island to celebrate her honeymoon, but “her new husband caught her in bed with Archer and took off.” Chris Parnell (Cyril Figgis) will be German spy and playing a Nazi intelligence officer pretending to be a breadfruit exporter. Lucky Yates (Krieger) will be the voice of Crackers the parrot. Adam Reed (Ray and co-creator of the series) will be the impeccably uniformed French Capitaine Reynaud.
