Hercules 2 Vimeo (3).Movie_Snapshot

The second issue to the Hercules series from Marvel Comics is out. Hercules is somewhat investigating the appearance of many of his fellow mythological counterparts from Greek folklore. There is a bigger issue at stake but he is not receiving any help from his Greek half brothers and sisters.

Robin War 1 YOUTUBE.Movie_Snapshot

Finally, the first issue to the long awaited Robin War is out. Well not long awaited, but it is something that I have pondered and thought over for a couple weeks. The first issue sets the stage with all the Robins- Tim Drake, Jason Todd, and Damien Wayne meeting up with the vigilante group known as We are Robin. Dick Grayson will be joining them very soon.

Midnighter 7 Comic Book Review YOUTUBE (3).Movie_Snapshot

The epic conclusion to Midnighter’s first story arc that has him being pitted against Prometheus. In the previous universe, Prometheus was able to defeat Batman in hand to hand combat. This is a slightly different scenario but nonetheless, still very exciting.

Young Avengers Vol 2 FINAL Vimeo.Movie_Snapshot

This is the second part to the Young Avengers first series that debut from Marvel Comics back in 2005. This review encompasses issues #7-12 and includes two stories. This first story is called Secret Identities and revolves around Patriot and his abilities as a superhero. The second story is a background story that explains Hulkling’s unique origin. Incredibly original story and great artwork illustrating this team’s dynamics.

Masters of the Universe Mini Comic Book Collection YOUTUBE (3).Movie_Snapshot

By far, Masters of the Universe is my favorite genre. I love the original stories, the cartoon, and especially the mini comic books that were included with the original figures. Finally, Dark Horse comics has released a collection of almost all of the mini comics that have been produced by Mattel/DC Comics/Dark Horse throughout the run of the toy figures. This book is incredible! I’m loving it more than I can describe.

Hercules 1 YOUTUBE (4).Movie_Snapshot

Jem and the Holograms from IDW Comics. I reviewed all of these titles individually before on my former YouTube account, so I figured I’d revisit them all as a whole in the first volume. The series is great and if you ignore and pretend that the movie never happened, you can have an untarnished memory of this great fandom that exists. Check out my thoughts on the first six issues of this series in the video below.

Midnighter Vol 1 (2).Movie_Snapshot

Check out my thoughts on the first 6 issues of DC Comic’s most notable gay supehero who is carrying his own title in a mainstream comic book universe. Midnighter is a super powered cross between Batman and the Punisher that dishes out a badass brand of justice to his foes. Excellent first story arc and definitely worth reading.
