Oh no, Spider-Man and all of the many Spider-People are under attack once again by the Vampiric Energy sucking Inheritor family that targets Spider Totem beings from all dimensions. Stupid Superior Octopus for thinking he could contain Morlun. What’s your comic load look like this week?

It’s the first issue to Rainbow Brite. Remember, this an ALL Ages comic book, so it is not meant to be too edgy like many other comic book series that are based on older series from the 80s. It was interesting and I will continue reading.
Over in Nightwing #50, Dick Grayson is recovering from a bullet through the head and having complete amnesia. He now has a complete new beginning with no background to hold him down. I am not on board with this, but maybe it will grow on me. What does your comic load look like?

The Masters of the Universe are invading the Injustice Universe in this epic crossover. In the first two issues we have established that Superman has taken control of Earth and is controlling its heroes and villains. The remaining resistance head to Eternia to recruit its most powerful superhero, He-Man in combating the dark Kryptonian’s rule. The build up has been established and the major battle is about to take place. This was written by Tim Seeley and drawn by Freddie E. Williams II. Check out my thoughts on this epic first issue in the attached video!

It is comic book day! Not only do we get to see a shadowy outline of Bruce Wayne’s dick in Batman: Damned #1, which apparently has some people upset, but we also get to see Bruce’s OTHER Dick (Grayson) get shot in Batman #55. Batman’s dick is barely noticeable in the shadows, but it is enough to get many geeks, gay and straight a like talking about it. Awesome week to be a geek but bad news for Nightwing fans. To see the BatDick in all it’s glory (for what you can see), see the images below. What’s your comic load look like this week?

It’s Jitsu! I mean, Chopper. He’s from the Masters of the Universe Classics Super7 Filmation series. He only made one appearance in the original 1980s cartoon, but it was memorable. Thank you Michael for getting me this figure at Power Con 2018. I hope to get more of the Filmation series figures at some point down the line.

In Action Comics #1002, Superman punches some rocks. At least Guardian showed up. Amazing Spider-Man #4 – Spider-Man and Peter Parker are separated into two beings. That’s not good. X-Men Gold #34 – Storm takes on a would-be-god trying to take over her home village. X-Men Red #7 – Jean unites her X-team and get ready to take down Cassandra Nova. Flash #52 – Flash and Commander Cold take on a Strength Force enhanced Trickster. Batman Beyond #23 – Batman fights not only the new Scarecrow but also his new sidekick – Robin Beyond. Finally in Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes – The new Avengers team take down the Celestials and save Earth. What’s your load look like?

I never knew I wanted to see Bane ATTEMPT to punch He-Man before until I read this issue. He-Man has been recruited by the remaining heroes of Earth to take down the tyrannical rule of Superman/Wonder Woman/Batman and their Brainiac mind controlled Suicide Squad. Can He-Man take on the Kryptonian? The fight is being built up to be epic! Check out my thoughts on this second issue to this 6-Issue mini series written by Tim Seeley and drawn by Freddie E Williams II.
