Uncanny XMen 600 (2).Movie_Snapshot

The definitive end to the current volume of the Uncanny X-Men is here. We had to wait 6 months to get it, but at least we finally did get it. There is some closure as to some of the characters and where they will be heading in the future comics, but we also get an answer to a question that many have been pondering for months. Is adult Iceman gay, like his teenage counter part? Check out my thoughts on the issue in the video below.

Midnighter 5 (4).Movie_Snapshot

Previously, Midnighter teamed up with Agent 37, aka Dick Grayson, in his mission to retrieve many pieces of technology that was stolen from the God Garden.

In this issue we conclude the small arc with Agent 37 helping Midnighter. Interesting read with excellent art that is illustrated throughout the issue. The story is consistent in the overall storyarc with Midnighter unraveling the keys to who is behind stealing the artifacts and tech from the God Garden. His banter with Dick Grayson is incredible and they definitely need to have a team up with Batman at some point down the line. Check out my thoughts on the issue in the video below.

Ghostboy and Diablo #1 is a somewhat older book that came out back in 2011. I did a review on it originally but I figure since the next two issues have come out recently, I should revisit this. Reviews for issues #2 and #3 will be coming soon!

Yep, DC Comics actually has the cojones to make a mainstream comic with a GAY character as the title superhero. It’s not the first time that this has happened technically, but it’s still a bid deal. I’m glad they choose a cool badass guy to lead this comic.

Rebel With a Cause – from Bruno Gmuender was released a while back, but not a lot of people knew about it since it was released in Germany. This book is translated into English, so at least English speaking comic geeks can read it.

Did you read Space Cadet #1? If not, no worries, this story picks up on a new direction. You just have to know that Space Cadet can fly, and shoot energy projection. And he’s a superhero of course!
